Morgan and Jerred’s wedding was black, white and chic all over! A quintessential San Diego destination — the La Valencia Hotel was the ideal setting for their summer micro-wedding. Wanting to balance the yin yang of femininity and masculinity; timeless and contemporary — their wedding was less guests and more design! The wedding was accompanied by a mix of live music and DJ with the coastal music and contemporary mixes of Kevin Miso.
The ceremony altar was a growing install on the existing curved facade of the garden terrace. All of the wedding flowers were white and accented by varying greenery. Delicate anemones were dotted throughout the reception tables, which featured an abundance of candles and votives in varying styles, sizes and vessels.
We sourced concrete tables and placed them atop the iconic black and white tile in the Veranda Ballroom. The guests were sat in black crossback chairs. while the newlyweds enjoyed the added comforts of a tufted cane-back chair with black trim. Black Flatware and elegant black wine goblets were standouts on the reception tabletops. Surrounded by a cloud of florals, floating above the couple and framing the sweetheart table was a white neon sign scripting, “it was always you.”
